The Omega high is still currently in affect as high pressure systems hold over central United States. The snow continues to melt and grass is starting peak through as the sun is shining down. The warm weather will continue through the weekend as Sunday's high is expected to be around 62°F. Right now the temperature is 55°F, a little cooler than yesterday, but still very pleasant for March 11th.
This Omega high will result in HEAVY snowfall on the east coast this weekend, which I will keep track of later in the week.
